A trip with no return ticket

In 2000 Ares Fernández decided to quit her job and buy a one-way ticket to Australia. Oceania was the first stop on an adventure that would last 2 years.

In that period of time Ares was fascinated by the personality of the 7 countries she visited: the power of the soil of Australia, the incredible Maori culture of New Zealand, the natural landscapes of Indonesia and Thailand, the exquisite architecture of Cambodia, the power of the Mekong River in Laos and the liveliness of colors and sensations of India.

All these wonderful cultures and experiences represent a before and after in the life of Ares and have enormous influence on the way she designs.
